The museum educates visitors on the importance of maritime industry, as well as maritime history. Over the past year, we have increased public outreach and made exciting new additions to the museum, including  exhibits on the Port of Houston and the Texas Navy.  Additionally, we are actively planning an expansion that will involve a new building, additional exhibits and more outreach programs.
