Held at the Houston Maritime Museum, this lecture on the history of weaponry was a fascinating study in the evolution of military technology.
West Columbia Library Pirate Program

Hosted by the West Columbia Library, we had a great time showing the kids from Miss Missy’s Day Care the development of ships & piracy over time. We use hands-on lessons where the kids get to experience what it is like to work together as a pirate band to accomplish their goals. In this case Ben, the master swordsman, was taken down by a cross-bow bolt from a 7 year old.
Port Vision

We welcome the new addition to our Port of Houston room, PortVision. This computer based exhibit allows visitors to watch ports all over the world in real time. Tracked by satellites, all of the activities of the ports are a mere mouse click away.
