The Gulf Coast Historical Ship Modeling Society
Members of the GCHSMS are amateur as well as professional in the art of ship modeling. Meetings are held every odd month on the second Saturday from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm here at the Museum.
Master Modeler Burt Reckles holds his model, the “San Felipe”. Members of the Modeler’s Society bring models that they are working on for a ‘show & tell’ discussion.
Master Modeler B.E. Duke works on his model, “The Norske Love”. This model and many of Duke’s other works are on display daily at the Museum.
