The Houston Maritime Museum has an active speakers bureau and can provide lectures to all age groups and sizes both on and off site. Staff members can also provide TEKS-based lessons on science, math, social studies, and geography. In addition, the Museum hosts the Gulf Coast Historical Ship Modelers Society and often welcomes organizations such as the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Sea Scouts for interactive visits.
